This kind of house does not get built without the continuous attention of a skilled builder and the many other craftsmen that worked under his direction.

House for Betta

Dear James,

Just wanted to drop a line and tell you how much I have enjoyed living at the pond house this summer. Right now I am surrounded not only by sparkling water but by the beautiful fall foliage, so great this year. Everything about the house has brought me joy.

One visitor to whom I showed the house and who noticed the framed copy of your manifesto, or mantra, what ever it is, to wit: "...the roof will be green, the stone will be covered in green lichen, the wood will be gray and the house and the site will be one" -- well, he commented that it is all happening just that way.

This gave me the idea that since it is about the 10th anniversary of the completion of the house, that it might be a topic for a note you could published somewhere. Just a thought.
Grateful client,
Elizabeth
